Elementary Teachers
High School Language Arts Teacher
Junior High Math Teacher
High School Math Teacher
Secondary Science Teacher (DX or DI certification preferred)
Physical Education Teacher
Music Teacher (full-or part-time for high school choir and 5th/6th grade music)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum 
  • Valid State of Michigan teacher certification
  • Passionate about building relationships with students and families
  • Enthusiastic about content area
  • Excellent communication skills

Secondary Special Education Teacher 

Requirements:

  • Current MDE certification
  • Valid Michigan K-12 Special Education certification and highly qualified status in the state of Michigan
  • Experience at all grade levels preferred

Responsibilities:

Planning curriculum and preparing lessons and other instructional materials to meet the individual needs of students, considering such factors as physical, emotional, and educational levels of development.  The successful candidate must also be able to relate positively with students and build strong relationships with parents, administrators, testing specialists, social workers, and various other teaching professionals to develop individual educational plans for students.
