2016-17 HIGH SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST

Items students will carry throughout the day:
  • 7 spiral-bound single-subject notebooks
  • 1 three-ring binder with 7 folders or pocketed dividers
  • 1 Spanish-English dictionary (new or used)
  • 1 pair of headphones (for Engineering, Technology or Chemistry classes only)
  • Highlighter(s)
  • Graphing Calculator TI 83+

Note: This calculator typically costs $100-120 and can be purchased at Staples, Best Buy, Target, etc. It is important that students have the TI 83+, TI 84+ or TI-NSPIRE and not the TI 83 or TI-NSPIRE CAS or a lesser model. This is an investment but as long as your child takes care of his or her graphing calculator, it can be used throughout high school and into college. It can also be used on ACT tests.

  • USB thumb drive

Note: This is an optional item but is very handy for transporting files from school to home. It can be purchased for as little as $5 from a store like Target. A USB drive that can be attached to a key ring or backpack may work best to prevent it from getting lost. Please write your child's name on the USB drive so that it can be returned if it is left in a computer.

Items for general classroom supply:
  • 2 packages of notebook paper, college rule with red line margin, 100 count
  • 2 glue sticks
  • 1 12" ruler (rubber/bendable is preferred)
  • 3 boxes of tissues
  • 36 #2 wood, yellow pencils
  • 1 package of black or blue pens, 12-count
  • 1 box of Band-Aids, 30-count
  • 2 packages of white lined 3x5" index cards, 100-count
  • 1 protractor (for Geometry)
  • 1 pencil compass (for drawing circles in Geometry)

General classroom supplies will be given to the advisor unless otherwise noted.

Students will not be allowed to carry bags with them to class; instead they will be stopping at lockers to gather supplies between each class.

We are not asking Secondary students to contribute plastic spoons or forks, as the supply provided by students generally runs out by October. Please provide spoons or forks as needed for your Secondary students' lunch.
