To be registered & prepared for the start of each athletic season please follow the steps below:

Step 1 – Have a Student Athlete Physical Exam completed and the MHSAA physical form filled out. Physical must be completed after April 15 of the previous year to be valid. This is an MHSAA rule and once on file is good for the entire school year.

 Step 2 – Complete the GTA Athletic Pledge. A new Athletic Pledge is required for each season and asks students and parents to commit to the expectations of being an athlete and supporter.

 Step 3 – Fill out the top half and backside of the Athletic Ticket. The top half is used to enter numbers into the Remind text service and the backside is used by the coach in case of an emergency throughout the season.

 Step 4 – Bring the completed Physical Form, Athletic Pledge, Athletic Ticket and Athletic Fee $75(JH) $100(HS) to the Athletic Office before the season begins. Students can bring the three required pieces at any time throughout the day to finish up the registration process.

Step 5 - The Athletic Office will process the three pieces of required paperwork, check eligibility for the athlete, load cell phone numbers into the remind service and determine any transfer student issues. The Athletic Office will give the Athletic Ticket to the student to take home.

Step 6 – Student brings the Athletic Ticket to the first day of practice and gives it to coach to begin the season. This completes the registration process and athletes are ready to start the season!

Paperwork Location: the Physical Form, Athletic Pledge, Athletic Handbook and concussion information can be found by clicking on the Athletics tab and then going to forms and documents.

Schedules: all schedules can be found by clicking the Atheltics Tab and going to the respective team schedule. If you click theat the bottom of each calendar it will automatically add to your mobile calendar or desktop version. You are also able to print hard copy schedules directly from the website in day, week, month or agenda view. If there are ever changes to the schedule online, a remind text goes out and notifies you of the change.

  • Cross Country, Football, Volleyball – August 20, Registration Deadline - August 10
  • Boys Basketball, Cheer – October 22, Registration Deadline - October 12
  • Girls Basketball – January 7, Registration Deadline - December 19
  • Track, Softball, Baseball – April 1, Registration Deadline - March 22

High School Season Start Dates

  • Football – August 6, Registration Deadline - August 3
  • Cross Country, Volleyball – August 8, Registration Deadline - August 3
  • Girls Basketball – November 12, Registration Deadline - November 2
  • Boys Basketball, Ski, Cheer – November 5, Registration Deadline - October 26
  • Track, Baseball, Softball – March 11, Registration Deadline - March1
