At Grand Traverse Academy, we teach students to do the right thing, because it's the right thing to do.

We believe that proper behavior leads to good character, which leads to success in school and beyond.  Secondary students and staff have chosen character traits they think are important for successful young adults:

They defined the traits and created rubrics for student evaluation that describe what the traits look like in their daily lives.  Students and staff work hard to exemplify these traits on a daily basis.
