The current position is available immediately:
Computer Technician (Part-Time, M-F)
Assessing malfunctioning hardware to determine appropriate actions to maintain computer and A/V equipment
Troubleshooting and repairing school-owned computers, peripherals and classroom A/V equipment
Maintaining accurate records of technology resources
Maintaining a clutter-free work environment
Maintaining positive relationships with staff, students, parents, and outside contacts
Overseeing inventory for IT equipment and systems
Assisting students and staff in the correct care and usage of school technology
Supporting the rollout of new technology
Supporting audiovisual needs for meetings and presentations
Assisting with testing programs, such as NWEA, M-Step, PSAT, etc.
Other duties as assigned
High school diploma; associate's degree in computer technology preferred but not required
Experience in an educational environment, preferably K-12, preferred
Experience supporting users running Windows 7 and 10, Mac OS 10.10-10.12 and mobile OS, such as iOS, Android and Chrome
Experience installing software and updating and patching work stations
Experience providing user support and creating user documentation
Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to speak clearly and concisely
