Why School Uniforms?

Students and staff at Grand Traverse Academy wear uniforms daily.  We have chosen uniforms because they:

• allow students and adults to focus on learning

• help eliminate judgement based on attire 

• improve the safety and security of the school

• improve behavior and discipline in the school

• help develop a sense of unity

• ensure that inappropriate clothing will not be worn to school

Purchasing or Ordering School Uniforms 

Uniform pieces may be purchased from EmbroidMe at their store at 1567 West South Airport Road, Suite 3 in Traverse City (at the corner of South Airport and LaFranier Roads across from Floor Covering Brokers), by calling them at (231) 932-0688, or by ordering directly from the EmbroidMe website.
